Continuing To Build Another Chicago Icon
While Chicago deals with stay-at-home orders and other disruptions of daily life, a dedicated team of construction professionals is making the best of a challenging situation to ensure the timely construction of Westerly, the latest luxury apartment building from Chicago-based developer Fifield.
Westerly, a residential building under construction at 740 N Aberdeen, is planned to be completed this year. The project will add 188 apartments to the River West neighborhood, one block away from the Chicago Blue Line station.
Heather Morrison, MAPS CEO, said, “I’m glad to see the permitting process continuing at the City to keep in-progress developments moving forward.”
Patty McHugh, chairman at McHugh Construction, said, “Since the pandemic, our team has adapted and found new ways to do things. I’m incredibly proud of how our project staff was able to innovate at such an important time.”
